WHO WE ARE

Like many, my Digital music player has become the sole repository for my entire music library. I seamlessly plug it into my home system and then pluck it from its dock to use throughout my day. My perfect mobile music experience was frustration only by the disconnect with my car, the only place I felt as though my MP3 player was an afterthought. In an age when I can download my favorite television shows to my iPod and cars are beginning to resemble executive jets with DVD players, GPS, and remarkable sounding stereo systems, I found myself confounded by a complete void between my digital music player and my car's stereo. No one seemed to be trying to come up with a real solution. So I set out to design the IME Dock with myself in mind.

As an Angelino whose day started at sunrise and continued far into the night with many hours spent in transit, I set my expectations high. I didn't want to listen to my music through static. I didn't want jury rigged wires exposed in my car. I didn't want to be confined to a single digital music player when technology pushed out a sexier product every couple of months, and I wanted to control my music as it was intended - directly from the player. I needed something that could keep up with the pace of my life and the technology of the world I live in.

Problem solved! IME met and surpassed my criteria with the first of its kind fully integrated, hot-swappable audio/video mobile docking system for the most popular brands of digital media players from Apple©, Microsoft© and SanDisk®.
